Uplift Community High School's Counseling Department believes that College is possible for every student. We work closely with the Chicago Public School's Department of Post Secondary Education. We follow the "Student Development Four Pillars Model" of Community and School Leadership, Social Personal Growth, Individualized Post Secondary Preparation, and Integrated Academics. The counselors provide individual and group counseling for academic, social emotional, and post high school concerns. We have a Post Secondary Lab where students can search for colleges, work on Key train and ACT online preparation, and receive College and Career advising. We also take field trips to colleges, invite speakers from local universities, and participate in service learning and internship activities to ensure that all students are knowledgeable of their future choices.
