Longer School Day Forum
Next year, CPS is planning on instituting a longer school day which features a 7.5 hour school day for students.

1st Quarter Attendance Luncheon
Advisories with the highest attendance percentage in the 1st Quarter will be invited to a special luncheon on Wednesday, December 21.

Monthly Community Service Projects
Each grade level is charged with the responsibility of giving back to the community in the form of service. This month the 10th grade went to 2 Lil' Fishes at the Uptown Peoples Church. They painted and help serve meals. Pictures can be found in the Photo Album.

Varsity Wrestling Result
Congrats to Coach Rick and the varsity wrestling team for finishing in 4th place in the Guerin Prep Invitational this past weekend. The team finished 4th while only competing in 7 of the possible 14 weight classes. Special congrats to Taurean Johnson (120 lbs.) and Samuel Ogunkoya (170 lbs.) for finishing 1st in their weight classes; Terryon Bradley (182 lbs.) and Davyone Lewis (220 lbs.) finished 2nd, and Joshua Simmons finished 3rd in the 195lbs. division.
